Victorians selected for National Performance Camp

VICTORIA will be well-represented at the upcoming National Performance Camp with 14 played invited.

Our Victorian state team representatives will attend the National Performance Camp from 29 September 29 to 2 October at the Centre of Excellence in Canberra.

Basketball Australia announced the 60 athletes born in 2004 and 2005 who have been identified to attend based on their performances at the recently Australian Under-18 Junior Championships held in Wyndham, as well as respective state and territory high performance programs.

Selected athletes will attend the four-day camp and take part in a series of on-court sessions, scrimmages and education sessions and engaging with some of the leading coaches in the country.

The National Performance Camp, formerly known as Australian Development Camp, has been a feature of the Australian basketball pathway for some 30 years and has had numerous NBA and WNBA athletes attend, including Lauren Jackson, Rebecca Allen, Elizabeth Cambage, Patty Mills, Aron Baynes and Joe Ingles.
