Basketball Victoria in conjunction with the consultant have released the Gippsland Basketball Issues and Opportunities Paper June 2020 for community comments and consultation.
It’s part of the Gippsland Basketball Participation and Elite Pathways Project, which is being developed in partnership with GippSport Community Solutions, the Latrobe Valley Authority, Latrobe City Council, Sport and Recreation Victoria and local basketball associations.
Latrobe Valley Authority provided a $35,000 grant for for the development of a Strategic Implementation Plan for an elite pathway model for junior and senior basketball in Gippsland with Latrobe Energy.
