A HIGHLIGHT on Basketball Victoria’s annual calendar, the 2019 Women in Basketball Luncheon is right around the corner!
Join us Thursday 3 October from 12pm-3pm as Basketball Victoria celebrates and pays tribute to the role girls and women play in the sporting community at our 2019 Women in Basketball Luncheon. Attendees will hear from thought-provoking presenters, while recognising outstanding achievements from girls and women in basketball – including the Girls Got Game and Advancing Women in Basketball Awards.

Our guest speakers include Matti Clements – AIS Director of Athlete Wellbeing and Engagement, Australian representative and WNBA draftee Alanna Smith and Basketball Australia’s Women in Basketball Principal Advisor and former Olympian Tal Karp.
|Matti Clements is an expert in wellbeing and people management with over 15 years’ experience working with Australia’s top elite and professional sports at both a strategic and operational level. She is currently leading the new AIS Athlete Wellbeing and Engagement department, who’s vision is that all Australian athletes can learn, thrive and contribute to their community during their time in high performance sport and life afterwards.|
